Father's Day Gifts For Father Of Twins

Being a father of twins is relentless hard work. Dads do manage it somehow, while keeping sane and enjoying their twins along the way.

Every father of twins does, however, need time for themselves. A little time every now and again to recharge, emotionally and physically.

So here are some ideas for gifts for your hero of a father. First, though, what does he enjoy?

Does he play computer games on his PC or MAC? If he does, he will be thrilled to receive the TVR Tuscan Street Mouse - a computer mouse modelled after the rather stunning TVR sports car. As well as being a high quality optical mouse (so no need to remove strange bits of fluff), it just looks sooooo good.

Does your dad enjoy beer? If he does, Cooper's Home Brewing Kit - the easiest beer brewing kit in the world - would make an intriguing gift. Everyone raves about how utterly easy it is to use, and how surprisingly tasty the beer is.

Does your dad love being outdoors - hiking, exploring, fishing, ...? A good hand-held global positioning system (GPS) will add so much more fun to his adventures. He could explore more easily, without having to faff around with maps. He could mark his favourite fishing spots and really easily test out his theories about new, potentially fruitful fishing locations. An excellent example of a top performing, robust, weatherproof hand-held GPS is the Garmin Colorado 400t.

Does your dad enjoy listening to music? Here are a couple of non-mainstream suggestions: The first is 'Raising Sand' by Alison Krauss and Robert Plant. Especially if your dad likes Iron & Wine or Howe Gelb or Ryan Bingham. The second suggestion is: 'Ultimate Collection' by The Small Faces, an exciting mod-pop-rock musical swag bag from the sixties.

Does he like reading a lot? Is he often midway through several books, magazines and newspapers at the same time? Your dad will absolutely LOVE the Kindle eBook Reader. This small yet extraordinary device can download and store a phenomenal number of books, newspapers, reports, documents, magazines. And he can easily mark his place in everything he is reading. So when he has a few minutes - say one baby (finally) sleeps and the other is happily feeding - dad can whip out his Kindle and read (yes one-handed).

Does he like taking photographs? A digital frame would make a wonderful gift. Even if he's got one already. Because one can go on his desk, one in the living room, one in the bedroom
