Celebrate Turning 50

Fifty is a pretty impressive number. You are at your Peak. It is your time.

Whether you are planning a party for someone turning fifty or turning fifty yourself, make the birthday into a true celebration. No need to have the dreaded over the hill parties with gag gifts and jokes relating to being old, but rather a time for celebration. It is a time to celebrate who you are, what you've accomplished and it is a time to enjoy!

Turning 50 is now a rite of passage into a whole new life. Turning fifty means freedom, freedom to enjoy yourself and not worry about having fun. It is a time of freedom knowing that you are all grown up. It's freedom of been there, done that. Freedom to laugh out loud, freedom to be outspoken and freedom to enjoy yourself without worrying about what people think or what people will say.
Some fun activities to help celebrate turning 50.

List 50 people that have been important to you in your 50 years. List 50 things you have accomplished in your 50 years. Write 50 thank yous for things you are grateful for.

Reflect on your life and write down the things that you haven't accomplished in your life. Remember, it's not too late. Now is the time to take on a new (or even old) hobby, be more active, get a new hairstyle, re-connect with an old friend.

As you look forward to your next set of years, make a commitment to laugh more, play more and enjoy more. You've earned it. Let 50 represent all that you have dreamed to be and all that you have wished for. Turning 50 is a time to celebrate who you are and the fun that is yet to be.
