This film is in 3 parts, in all it is 24 minutes long. It is my final project in college. This film is essentially about the Dadis (Grand-mothers). They are two old women belonging to a village, Johri, district Baghpat, near Meerut city, Uttar Pradesh, India. They did not discover their gift until the age of 68 and 60. And that changed their lives and the people who came in touch with them forever. This film depicts a journey of womanhood and self-discovery. It talks about the need to prove oneself to the rest of the society and more importantly, to our own selves. It makes each of us reflect within and discover the Dadis inside. At the age of 68 and 60, Chandro and Prakashi Tomar started competitive shooting- Air-pistol 10 meters. This was possible as the villagers had started a small shooting range in the village. They accompanied their grand-daughters& after a few days, developed an interest. They were natural shooters & quickly acquired fame as 'Dadis'. They won many National & State level tournaments. A 24-minute documentary deals with their daily life and travails.
