Tibetan Stanford student talks about what inspires her

To see and read more personal stories by and about Tibetans, visit the YoWangdu Tibetan Gift Shop site at www.yowangdu.com Tenzin Seldon is the 20-year old Tibetan activist and Stanford student. Raised a Tibetan refugee in India, Seldon has accomplished a great deal already -- she was one of about 20 students accepted out of 2000 transfer applicants to her Stanford class, and the first Tibetan raised in the refugee community to attend Stanford. Though just 20 she is wise beyond her years and clearly on the path to serving a significant role in her nation's future. Yolanda O'Bannon of YoWangdu.com visited Seldon at the Stanford campus, and talked to her about her inspirations.
